This “corkscrew” barn, built 1743 lies on the outskirts of Leixlip Co Kildare, there are two
smaller buildings nearby thought to be dovecotes, very interesting to look at.
i love that thing, haven’t seen it in years. really like the positions of the clouds in this image. can’t help wishing the color of the sky was a bit more intense. beautiful shot anyway.
Hi Jenny. Cool building, but I can’t help feeling that it’s position in the shot is just wrong. :? I also think the lighting is a bit flat. I would like to see the same shot taken in portrait mode, excluding the trees / hedge from the left side. A very very interesting find though.
an amazing structure…however i also think that the light has done you no favours jenny….. ofcourse we cant always be in the right place at exactly the right time….so what are ya gonna do !!….i wonder would it work with a letterbox crop and a mono conversion ? the top one obviously….:-)
cheers jodal, it could be down to the processing because the day was good, blue sky, white
fluffy clouds……what more could I ask. So must go back to see why it looks so flat. Thanks
for looking :)
