Alan RossiterParticipant
Right – I’ve been PM’ing a few interested parties this morning and a PI trip to the Islands seems to be on the cards. Initially I was looking at this coming Sunday, 22nd but some are going to Eric Clapton so wouldn’t be available. The following weekend is the Donegal weekend and the following weekend I’m not available (don’t let me stop you guys though). So watch this space.

Alan great sharp set!!
Keep me in mind when you finalize a date!!
Cheers Steve
DarrenGParticipantLovely set Alan. Can’t wait until I get out there.
What are the gulls like? I know from recent trip to Ireland’s Eye they are very aggressive when you get close to the nesting areas.
Alan RossiterParticipantAgressive – just in 1 spot. Wear a helmet or as another colleague of ours suggested hold the tripod so that it’s above your head. In fairness there was a lot of noise but no real attack with me but a couple of others were buzzed. They have been known to draw blood. You have been warned.
Alan
Thomas GeeMemberGreat shots Alan. I hope you left some puffins for the rest of us.
10 of us are going out there this coming weekendMarkKeymasterNoely FParticipantExcellent work Alan, worthy of any wildlife mag  I’ve been attacked by Black Backed gulls on irelands eye..all my own fault climbing from one end of the island to the other  the “wave the tripod like a helicopter” trick worked for me!
It stops attacks but not excrement though :lol:PitmaticMembervividimagesMemberPeteTheBlokeMemberosheadParticipantpeterasmithMemberFantastic shots – in particular the second one of the gannet with nesting material. Superb detail in the puffin and razorbill shots.
RobMemberCouldn’t fault a single one of these. Magazine quality stuff.
Superb set Alan…Rob.
Alan RossiterParticipantThanks all.
I’ll have to charter a ferry for the next PI trip to the island, methinks!!
