Alan RossiterParticipant
Exactly what it says on the tin! Denverdoll made me think a few days ago (and that ain’t easy!!) about things that we see that make us wonder about mankind and how some of us are let out. Sharons was on Flickr which showed a sign at Jack Russell height asking pets to warn their owners about the dogs POOing. I have a few and have started a collection of just those images that seem just a little odd, or comical, or just make you stop to look with curiosity and wonder…
The first was spotted on Inisheer on the PI trip. By itself this is a simple image but the curiosity relates to the notice and it’s lack of…well, you’ll see for yourself. By all means add your occasions to this thread and we’ll see where we can go.

RobMemberClassic Alan. Well spotted. And a good idea for a thread too…
Actually, quite a nice photograph too, well composed, sharp and interesting…
Rob.
DenverDollParticipantDenverDollParticipantAlan RossiterParticipantNice ones Sharon. I remember seeing a sign many years ago around my home place that said “Cows Cross”. It was to signify the likelyhood of cows crossing the road from one field to another but not exactly accurate gramatically. Another famous one is the “Feck off Crows” written on the plastic bales seen in Ireland.
Keep ’em coming folks…

summerdreamnMemberi couldn’t resist posting this. i’m not sure if it’s an often seen site down your part of the country but it’s the first time i’ve come across such a heavily barricaded door, with no walls… :)
Alan RossiterParticipantAlan RossiterParticipantThis is a small plot at the commemorative area around Vinegar Hill, Co. Wexford commemorating the 1798 rebellion in Ireland. Obviously the name on the tree was taken too literally for some.
