Three way head suitable for a Manfrotto tripod

I currently have a pan and tilt video head that is great for panoramas, and landscapes, but changing to a vertical orientation is a pain.

Time for a 3 way head, what have you gathering dust? Its for a D300 + zoom lenses up to 300mm, so sturdy examples preferably!

This is heavy duty, has a wide platform and allows you to tilt or shoot horizontally or vertically,

You could also consider an ‘L’ plate – available from Kirk or Really Right Stuff.

Much easier to change from horizontal to vertical.
