Very nice Pete, the colour and detail are great as is the pose. I also like the background colour you picked, nicely done.

Thanks Seaview. The BG was just sky, so I can’t take credit for that :)

I was actually talking about the colour of the branches but you can’t take credit for that either I suppose.

    Thanks Jim.

Dave, you’re right, I’m lucky if they sit still for half a second – I don’t
make too many calculations about background I’m afraid.
I have cottoned on to foreground problems: I take far fewer shots
with twigs bisecting my subject these days.

I’ll have to get a mobile shed Pete, I’m actually thinking of getting a camo poncho meself  Sweet shot

Classic shot there Pete, beautifully framed. I’ve got to get
myself a hole saw, maybe a shed too that I can put a hole in…

Thanks folks. The hole in the shed was one of my better ideas.
Joseph suggested I post a picture of it, but I’m a bit embarrassed about
    my dodgy carpentry skills.

If anyone wants a tip, here it is: cut one edge of the hole and fit a hinge
before you cut the other three edges – that way, you get a perfect trapdoor.
