I like grabbing shots of other photographers….so was quite happy with this snatched shot…
This was taken at an impromptu demonstration by a couple of members of the band The Pixies and several hundred of their fans outside the main St. Stephen’s Green gate a few weeks ago. Apparently they’d announced on Phantom FM or some other station that they were going to play an acosutic gig on the bandstand in the Green. But they forgot to tell the park rangers and arrived 30 minutes before the park closes. They were promptly ejected, with their fans, by the forces of Law and Order, so they staged a sit down protest….although I think after a while they couldn’t have left even if they’d wanted to….they were totally hemmed in by fans and Garda alike..
Eventually they got into their van/bus/car and went off into the night to gig again.
Great fun altogether..

8)I think this is very good. The DOF is very good and the arms lead into the main focal point, the LCD. Were you on someones shoulders :)
Dave, if you knew me you’d know that nobody would be brave enough to put me on their shoulders… :lol: :lol:
No, I was doing pretty much the same thing as the person in the photograph was doing..except I have longer arms and a bigger camera :wink:
