Took this last Autumn, middle of a forest, on my stomach in all sorts of muck and sh1t.
Used my Sigma 70-300 on macro mode. Real life this fungi is around 1inch high.

Found it flipping impossible to get it as sharp as I’d have liked.
Also its not the most perfect speciman you’d ever see. Rain damage ruined everything that was there
Anyhow there you go.

Great shot… feels like those shrooms would just mush up in your hand. :) And for a 1 inch high mushroom, they look MUCH bigger :)

Nice subject matter. Good colour, looks like the white balance is spot on.
