Great. This is Dr Tom? I’m sorry I didn’t really get to hear his opening speech, it sounded good, if that makes sense?
I like this, definitely the colour, a bit more engaging I think. Love the square and the direct eye contact.

Certainly a great face to photograph, but the lighting (tungsten, wasn’t it?) isn’t really all that
great in this, and I’m not convinced by the composition within a square…Looking forward to seeing the results of the ‘formal’ sitting though…
Hi Mick,
The lighting cast is unusual but I keep coming back looking it – I find it engaging and like it a lot.
It mightn’t work for some people as a portrait to be framed and hung kind of image, but for me it’s like a really good snap shot with great exposure and sharpness, and I love the depth of field.
I like it a lot (don’t like the b/w conversion).
