Was photography allowed in this gig? I heard everything about this was like top secret, only two tickets per person, tickets had to named to holder, non transferable etc… Also heard the venue was not specified on the ticket.
So, what was he like anyway?

Gig was brilliant, best in my life, cameras were not allowed inside, though security didn’t really bother to check backpacks. Conditions for taking pictures were very difficult – not much light, loads of people pushing in. I’ll upload bigger photos tonight.
Thats what I thought, picture may not be the best but it has heaps of ‘I was there value’ I’m green with envy!!
exactly! I’d love to have them less noisy and … stuff, but I have them at least!, few years ago I was thrown out of the gig for taking pictures (didn’t use any speedlight), … this time I survived ;)
I can’t see the noise treated one. Have you done much PP on this? I dragged that top one into LR and had a bit of a play around with it, looks good in B&W. The yellow cast thats on it at the moment wouldn’t be my taste at all but I’m still green with envy anyway :sick

not really, just a slight crop in LR, I did some contrast adjustment on second picture to get rid of a grainy background. I know I know I was lucky to see him, to cheer you up Jess I tell you missed the concert of the year;

You should give the mono conversion a go, I thought it looked really good. So he saw you taking the picture then?
