    Hi Andy,

The range of photographic equipment available today is vast.
Most phones have a built in camera and some provide very impressive results.
Compact cameras come in many varieties and some are feature laden.
Bridge cameras are placed between the compact and the DSLR and again there are many types.
The DSLR market provides many options from tiny models to great professional hunks.

Then we have lenses, filters, tripods, software, bags ……………………

You need to decide what you are going to be doing photographically speaking. :?
Landscapes, portraits, sport, snapshots, macro, still life …….
Then see what type of equipment is best suited for your chosen field.

Then decide what your budget is.

    Then……… :D

So what do you want to photograph?

    Cheers,

    John.
