    Nice exposure.
    Not quite sure what it is about the composition… Maybe if you we’re on the beach rather than shooting from above.. Hence silhouetting the horses against the sky …
    Nice shot all the same.

    i like the exposure, it came out really nice. like the silhouetting also but i think the composition would be improved if there was more space in front of the horses instead of behind as the back space is pretty dead… nice shot all the same though

    Thanks for the replies…to be honest I agree with both of you…I was out covering an athletics race on Tramore Promenade…The Baldy Man Run and thats the reason it was taken above….also I was aware that the horse riders had headed down the beach and knowing they would be back I was trying to keep one eye on the beach and another on the race…it was taken with a Canon 70-200f2.8 lens and the point about the silhouetting against the sky is right and if I had seen the riders sooner I would have given more space for them to run into…I literally got 3 shots off before they passed the patch of light.
