Tranquility

herons are known for standing utterly still and therefore contributed symbolically to the theme of tranquility. without it it loses some of its depth in that sense.
i can see why you took it out though, bet it was a nightmare trying to falsify there reflection!
Yea this is so much better now. What occurs to me is would a heron land on the side of a boat. They are very shy creatures and I find that to even look at them sideways they’ll take flight. Plus they seem to hate photographers.
Believe it or not he did land on the boat see “Winter morning Kenmare Bay” That was him as he was on the boat. The herons along the pier here seem to be a little less shy, I think because they are fed by the offerings from incoming boats
