This was taken on our trek up the River Boyne by Slane Castle on Saturday, with Martin & Lawerence !!
As always C&C appreciated, especially on the conversion!!
Cheers Steve
nfl-fanParticipantI do like this Steve… has a simple elegance about it.
It is a tad flat for my liking… here comes the ‘C’ word… no not that one… ‘Contrast’, I’d bump it up ever so slightly, just give it a little more black and a little less grey.
Nice work… have fun?
J
Alan RossiterParticipantI’d agree with John on the contrast or maybe a little dodging & burning may have a similar effect. Maybe a mild vignette too to keep it all contained but all in all a most suitable presentation of your morning, I’d say.
Alan
LWheelerParticipantSteve, nice picture. Would agree with the other comments regarding adding a bit of contrast to give the picture a bit of a lift.
Looking forward to seeing some more pictures from the day !
Lawrence
ossie13ParticipantThanks John have boosted the contrast???
Thanks Alan and waiting to see your posts as well Lawerence!!
Cheers Steve
MartinParticipantVery nice Steve. Agree with the lads a bit of a contrast boost. Had a play below, Cropped and dodged a few of the shadows etc. Its a nice pic for sure. Still have to develop my film from the day…
DeeboParticipantAgree with the fellas and your second shot is spot on, much better than the first
Deeossie13ParticipantDee..thanks

  After seeing your pic last night I got the finger out and developed some of mine. Will hopefully post something tonight if there any ways good
RobMemberSorry I didn’t make it along on the day, but maybe next time…
Martin’s edit has made quite a difference to this Steve, particularly
in relation to the crop. Works far better as a frame filler I’m sure
you’ll agree. Lovely light and a nice conversion too…Rob.
