Tree roots!

Hi Fiona, intesting shot, the light on the tree is good and you’ve got a different sort of perspective. Seems a bit blurred however-maybe my eyes are banjaxed though ;)

I think i can understand what you were trying to capture, but im not sure if it works, for me anyhow. The top half of the picture is very different to the bottom of the picture which i find distracting or off putting. Maybe push up the contrast a bit and print the shot and have a look in print. It might work better in print :?

I think I would crop most – but not all – the roots. The tree branches are eerily human in parts.
