Anyone selling a Tripod?
Not to worried about the make, just something to get me started perhaps.. nothing too expensive either?Cheers,
Meghan
GizzoParticipanthi Meghan, I am considering selling my Manfrotto 190 (without the head)….
what’s your budget?plainoldmeMemberAlan RossiterParticipantTry http://www.amvona.com. I got a tripod with grip ball-head for €115 incl. postage. The price of the dollar now would make this cheaper again. It’s heavy, but sturdy.
I bought this one which is now retailing at $134 (€86) – and another €30-ish for postage and you’re laughing!
Did I tell you it was heavy – 7lbs heavy!

GizzoParticipantplainoldmeMemberthanks for the advice guys.
And sorry Gizzo, too high for me, especially when you can get a manfrotto 190 new on ebay for that price!
Thanks anyway :)

sorry, I checked a couple of ebay stores, and if my conversion from pound was ok, I saw something like 160 shipped from EU.
I didn’t want to overestimate. :oops:plainoldmeMemberIt’s alright Gizzo, ended up going with the one irishwonkafan recommended! :D
jonathanmmcgeeParticipantSorry for the late reply but try Feisol of USA!
I have just bought one and had it shipped from the US to my other home in the UK, not the cheapest but they are the best by far, honestly no comparisons. The build quality is superb on mine, I have the Four-section tripod CT-3472 with Ball Head CB-70H.
See link to site below but be warned when posting from the US they may charge customs tax, worth it though:
