While shooting an image of this beautiful Hoverfly….. This Happened. :shock:

Such an incredible picture story David, amazing detail. Were you stalking the scene for a long time or was this just a case of being in the right place? You must be really proud of these, excellent stuff.

The Spider is a mate of mine. He said he’d give me a call if anything goes down. :)
I stopped to shoot the hoverfly perched on the leaf. Just below waist height, so it was perfect. It wasn’t til I moved around to the other side that I noticed the spider. It was over in less than 10 minutes I guess.
