    Hi Alessia!

I am astounded. Do come clean girl. There is no way that this is your first attempt at food. It is great!

You have an amazing eye for the photo itself, and dof and focus and spot on as far as I can see on this screen. I have to admit I am viewing it very small, but in fairly high resolution. There is nothing that I would challenge you to change and the second and fourth are absolutely perfect food photos in my humble opinion.

Sorry, I am no use in terms of ideas for improvement. Well done:-)

I am very curious to see what others would say, as I cant find fault and to be honest, would say that the first photo of the sugar cubes is one of the nicest commercial food photos I have seen on here. You go girl. No stopping you now!

what to say??? you’re too kind Sharon! Thanks very much for your words. I must say, I’m really enjoying food photography so far (maybe because I enjoy food!!!!) and I think I’ll go on with it, although I’m little worried it won’t be good for my shape :D

Very very nice, Alessia!!! Brava!!! :)

The only thing I would try, if I were you, is to push yourself, play around with it, add some variety, play with different angles, show the context..for instance, the first picture is cous-cous, but I only know that because I saw the title on Flickr. What kind of spices would you put in cous-cous? Show us!! :)
These are a great starting point, keep shooting!!!!

Francesco, your suggestion are really stimulating…. I think I need to learn some basic of food styling ;)

    Thanks very much!
