Midweek trip to Co. Offaly last month has brought me in Tullamore and inevitably at the Heritage Centre. Really sunny day, so these are taken at noon (I know). I enjoyed the visit, especially the “malt teaser” at the end… :)
Hi Dan, Nice set of shots, i particularly like the first shot of the set.
It might be worth going back there at dusk and maybe trying for a blue hour shot. It might look good with the lights on in the windows and the water reflections ?
That’s interesting, because the purpose of the set was to catch the nice and relaxed midweek/ midday atmosphere in a usually busy place :). I only posted the first to help “locate” the indoor shots.
I appreciate your comments. Unfortunately I got there by accident and don’t think I will get there any time soon, but I think a sunset image around this time of year, with increasingly longer days, would look great. The angle is facing West, so I agree it will add much more to the image.
Grand Canal was very still that day, but I used full neutral grey ND4 to increase the exposure. Took out some little ripples this way.
