Here are two images from a recent free show in Temple bar. Tumble circus is what they call themselves. If you get a chance check them out, they were really entertaining.
Left-hand shot: I would like to see at least one of the subjects looking at the camera, and a tighter crop as I find the background distracting.
Right-hand shot: Cool moment well captured. I think the image would benefit greatly from some ‘cleaning’ with the clone tool e.g. remove the distracting white area above the suitcase.
Also, IMO neither photo is sharp enough, and localised contrast needs to be increased to give the toning more ‘oommph!’
Thanks for comments, I dont really do Photoshop, I print in the darkroom. These are scans from negatives and will generally end up as fibre prints from the full negative if they are good enough. I nearly always print full frame.
Ps
Had a look at your website , you have some nice landscape images, well done.

Hey Eddie,
Some nice shots there. They would work well as part of a series if you have some other frames.
Some great stuff on your website by the way!
The nerve of you to be using darkrooms and chemicals- isn’t that cheating, in the digital age we struggle to get perfect blacks and archival qualitys etc…
chemicals in dark rooms is most definitely cheating.
