Dave, I’ve been looking at your shots since I joined up about a month ago or so..and I have seen a dramatic change in the last couple of shots. There is much better use of light..and more care seems to be going into post processing. Maybe it was the course you attended with Simon that has brought this change on..and if it is..it is a great advertisement for his teaching methods and your ability to take instruction on board.
I really like this shot..especially the use of the light reflected on the tree and just the overall tone… it really is a beaut…to my eyes anyway. It is a pity you couldn’t have captured more of the right hand side…but I suppose the lens dictates that too.
Anyway..great shot. Keep ’em coming.
