I like these. No.1 could surely be lifted with a bit of Photoshop tweaking?
EDIT. I see you allow edits, so I did a very quick tweak.
In PS: auto-levels, raised saturation a bit, cropped the right and top, a wee sharpen and save.
Thanks Pete I only finished a basic digital camera course and dont have Photo Shop to play with.
your edit has reallymade it a much better image.
