Wasted away the morning in Inchicore today. Pix are pretty shite compared to most of the shots on this site but it was nice way to get soaked and freeze me bolx off :roll:
Anyways, a few OOF, unsharp, crap DOF shots here t make all the other photographers look great :oops:
Finished 2 nil to Pats anyways. A few more here if anyones interested. :)

Maybe try a tight crop on the last shot…… some good action going on there..
i actually think the first is the stronger image here. and i dont think they’re as bad as you make them out to be either!
What shutter speed did you use for these? Just curious…
Stuck it on Aperture Priority so I could shoot at the lowest f-stop number to try and keep the background blurred (didn’t work as well as I hoped). Was shooting most of them at about 200 and 300mm. Upped the ISO to 800 so I could get a shutter speed of about 1/400 consistently. Unfotuntaely my camera takes a good while to focus so the best images are the ones of teh closer play or else the substitution where I could line it up in advance and focus on their slow movement.
These are probably the least crap of the bunch and even at this resolution they are still very noisy. Cheers fr looking anyways. Means I wasn’t frozen for nothing. haha :wink:
