My son Sean recently joined Craobh Ciaran GAA club in Donnycarney Dublin. Heres a few shots from this morning.

No. 2 is why I love photographing sporting events with kids – the devoted coach, the kids all with different expressions, the helper-out dad, the child giving his input – all of them focused on their passion. There are so many stories in this one image – gets the imagination going. Great!
Something to try, especially with kids – is to get down on one knee so you’re not looking down on them… makes players seem more imposing and helps a bit with seeing their faces through the helmets too
