Unexpected Visitor

We found this little guy on the backdoor step today at around 4. At first we thought he was dead but when he started moving I ran inside and grabbed the camera. I’m so glad I got my new x2 extender because it meant I had 400mm to play with to get some real nice close up shots of him.
All shot at f8, 400ISO stepped down 1 stop for the color.
Aye like I said we think a bird had him. Or was at least trying to get him. But my dad came around and they flew off so thank god for small mercies. There was no open wound or anything and he wasnt bleeding when he was moving. Seemed happy enough for what’d probably just happened to him.
