Ive no idea what these are, i just know we have 3 of them in the area and hear them every so often. The overall quality of the image isnt great, as it was shot at full 200mm then cropped and resized so the image was a bit less, black dot in blue sky. Im happy with how it came out though.
Yeah its beautiful and hard to capture with only a 200mm lens. But was very happy with how it came out.
I’ve had a couple coming pretty low checking me out. So if you know they are, hang around for a while and you might get lucky.

Thats an amazing shot! Im hoping to invest in a 400 or 500mm later next year for this sort of thing. Beautiful shot! amazing detail.
