The pictures are terrific Zoltan, and work far better as a pair than
they might individually, though each is fairly strong in its own way.
Beautiful tones and textures in both. If you’re thinking of either of these
for the print exchange, I’d be very pleased indeed to have a copy of
the second one…The title? I’m not entirely sure here. A string of words becomes a sentence,
and as a sentence in English, it is slightly clumsy. Not terrible, just awkwardly
arranged and not pretty to read aloud…So I’m left wondering if this title was something that you thought in your own
language and then translated, or if you were thinking in English. Was there
something else that came to mind, and does it flow better in your own language?Lovely to see some good abstracts in this all too quiet section of the site…
Alan RossiterParticipantRefreshing Zoltan – not something you could think of to shoot but fell nicely for you. As with others opinions the tones do stand out to give depth. I’d say these are ideal “waiting room” material if that isn’t a derogatory remark.
As for the title – what do those who were critical of it really expect to see? I’d be quite happy to have a title that is as abstract as the image – true art in my opinion…rather like the stills version of “Fried green tomatoes at the whistle stop cafe”

nfl-fanParticipantI had a better look at these earlier today and found them really intrigueing as well as very good technically.
Everything about them was abstract… including the title… a perfect fit almost.
Could’ve done well in the POTY.
MarkKeymasterI dont understand the title, but i certainly like the photographs.
I’m not sure that a discussion soley based on the title is relevant. If the title has some ties to the images I’d like to hear more.
If not then, I’m more than happy to enjoy what I see.the stigMemberrandomwayMemberAs explained above, the naming of the pictures was spontaneous, and not designed or thought out. Thanks for the comments.
