I bought one ages ago in Maplins, not normally the cheapest place, but they were on special. Might be worth checking them out, could still be on special.
It was a cube shaped desktop set-up for smaller items, but looks the part and folds down flat.
Right Noel, couple of big sheets of flexible white cardboard and you’re laughing.
I needed to take a shot of my D300 this morning for a Flickr Group Logo and all I had was a couple of sheets of white typing paper…did the trick…hehe!!
Necessity and all that ;-)
Not the greatest product shot ever..but does the job ;-)
I use my two nikon sb600 flashes triggered remotly, shooting through umbrellas. I was stuck for a back drop for a recent product shot so I bought a roll of wrapping paper, turned it over for the white side and bingo.
I use a similar setup to Ricky. You can get really cheap flash triggers off of ebay for <€30. I also used a makeshift light tent that I bought in Dunnes for €3.
