Used Nikon D80 body only price

Have a potential buyer lined up for my camera. I realise market forces determine price, but What would be a fair price to charge some one? What is the going rate for a mint boxed irish bought camera. Shutter actuations only a couple of thousands. Ebay prices seem to vary widely.
well if u were to trade it in u would be looking at 300-350 so count your self lucky if u can get 450-500 for it. when i heard the trade in value i felt like stabing the guy at the counter in olearys camra world after paying 1200 for my kit last chrimbo.

Felt too bad selling it for so little (compared to price bought it for!), decided to keep it as a 2nd body.
i would agree for such a great lil camara there seems to be no good resale value on it. but its always nice to have a second body.
I’ve been offered between £120 and €350 trade in for my D80, which is over a year old and has about 16,000 shutter actuations. It is boxed and complete. The Irish shops which offered between €280 and €350 all seem to sell second hand D80s body only for about €450. So if you sell privately…
