positronMemberOnce or twice my cooking was nicely received as ‘positively radioactive’ (it was rather spicy..) and positron (anti-particle, anti-electron) came to my mind when I was thinking of some name to sign up for something…

your name was also a old fashioned shoot ’em up computer game on my old BBC pc –
my wife was playing it one day, and it sent her into labour…. :DpositronMemberThanks Ken, I had no idea! I looked it up, and its almost like Space Invaders, which I still play (30th anniversary edition, on PSP). Brilliant! :D :D

Madra RuaParticipantMany moons ago when I needed an alias for geocaching I wanted to pick something Irish.
Since I love otters and one of my favorite Irish reels is a tune called ‘Poll an Mhadra Uisce’ I was thinking of Madra Uisce (water dog = otter) as my geocaching name.
But I realised that it’ll be very hard to pronounce for most non Irish folks out there in the wide world of geocaching and the internet.
So, since I also really like foxes I picked ‘Madra Rua‘, or ‘Red Dog’ = foxPeteMcDMemberbingbongbiddleyParticipantI used to listen to lots of reggae and lots of reggae singers used to say bingboddilybing and things like that in their songs.
aoluainParticipantMine is my first initial and surname as Gaeilge . . . O’Luain . . .
As an aside love Trad and World music particularly Basque, one my favourite tunes i think
has to be “An Buachaill Caol Dubh”.I love MINOR keyed tunes . . . .
figParticipantAh some funny ones on there. Good idea for a post :-)
Mines just an old school nickname. Used to be called figroll cause it sounded like phil and I ate a figroll once (you know how it works) Anyway started using fig or figr0ll online and stuck with it.
PaddysnapperParticipantgregorParticipantAll right thought I might explain my name which is Gregor and it just simplified version of my real name which Grzegorz, most people can’t pronounce it properly so everyone unusually calls me Gregor or Greg.
