Hey all

First time posting, great to finally find a forum concentrating on irish photographers. Here’s a few things i’ve shot in the last few months, would love to get some feedback on them.

Hey Brian, welcome to the forum (great website btw :D… why did i break out singing Wu Tang Clan – Gravel Pit :lol: ….hmm…I need sleep ).
Love the first shot. Position of the three band members in the scene it just spot on. Conversion and light is super too. I like the composition in the second!
Did you try it in b/w? Might crop out the section of the chair that’s showing. Third is a great capture,. Has to be #1 for me – cracking.

Excellent shots Brian. #1 & #3 really capture the atmosphere well. A title for #2 comes to mind: Punks transition to hippiness!

Another vote for the 1st one, here!

I think the clarity is the main reason for me choosing that 1st out of the 3.

The second is a little dark, and the 3rd takes a little while to figure out what’s going on.

The 1st is a great choice for B&W and it’s got gr a great contrasty feel to it.

Thanks for the comments guys. And yes, i really shouldn’t have included the second shot under the “punk” banner ;) Looking forward to getting involved in this forum, people seem very positive.
