This doesn’t really work for me. The primary reason is that it feels like you’re taking some other photographers shot. The model clearly isn’t engaging your camera which detracts from the image. You’ve also caught her mid blink. Cropping wise. it’s unfortunate you took off the bottom part of her leg and the person in the background is a distraction, even though he’s quite out of focus.
On the plus side, the evening light is lovely, the shot is sharp and the exposure and colours are spot on. The technicals are all there, you just need to work on more careful framing and ideally engaging the subjects yourself.
Thanks for the great feedback. I can’t argue with your comments at all, though its one of the challenges of being one of the 100s of camera nuts at Carnevale, trying to compete for the right shot :-)
