Vernon Mount Winter Series RD 1

dejosheaParticipant
Round 1 of the Munster Motorcycle Club’s Winter Motocross Series took place at Vernon Mount on Sunday. This was the first race meeting on the newly rebuilt track. Seems a lot better from a spectator point of view, with easier access with spectator areas along the track.

maxParticipantSeaviewParticipantExcellent set, number one is a great shot with stunning detail.
Hopefully now that we have a PI event calender, it would be great to have events like this marked on the calender.Dave.
richieoflynnParticipantFantastic shots ! I like the ones where you caught the rainbow in the background. Also like the 4th one where it looks like you were right under the bike :-) I think that’s Crockard is it ?
dejosheaParticipantThanks for the comment,
Dave, I m after adding a few events to the calender, a few rallies(24 + 31 Oct) and also the next dates the Winter Series in Vernon Mount (20+21 Nov). There are practise days for motocross on every Sunday in Watergrasshill as well, so plenty of time to try it.
richie, Not too sure who the rider is, only know names of about 2 of them!! The new track layout seems cool, they really angle the bikes in the air now and it makes for a good photo.
Martin CrowleyParticipantMartinOCParticipantLovely set of shots, you caught the action well.
#4 is my favourite.Martin

Do you use a flash?. MartinQuote:Not sure how you mean bright? All your photos seem to be have the correct exposure.I was using a Canon 70-200 F2.8 (no flash), with ISO set to 250 for most of them. Camera in shutter priority and set to around 1/250s and below. The exif of the photos is should still be there on flickr if you want to check the setting of a particular photo.
