I think a slower shutter speed would be nice to soften the waterfall a bit, but that’s just my opinion. Nicely composed :)

good shot. nice composition and i think the fast shutter speed is refreshing , nearly everyone uses the slower shutter on water now ( and i include myself in that statement !!) so tis’ nice to see something a bit different. could be my screen but i think it could probably do with being brightened a bit though…looks super sharp , did you do that after in photoshop?

Lovely composition and treatment, but I would prefer a slow s/speed.

i have to agree as well about slowing the shutter, 2-4 seconds would have given you that silky smooth feel to the water

    Thanks guys,
jodal: i agree about brightness.. as soon as i posted this image the first time, i went back and give it more brightness.. maybe i should have given it a bit more. The image is sharp but i think the one in this post looks, like you said, super sharp.. might due to the fact that the original image in flickr is larger but i choosed to post a medium version so that you didn’t have to scroll up and down.. it’s not the first time that this happens.. on the original file is just “normal” :) (btw i did sharpened the original file in cs5)

re shutter speed, it goes back to the same old personal taste. in this instance i wanted to go against the trend.. guess i felt that way that morning ;)
    thanks again to everyone
