Has anybody any experience of white vinyl backgrounds .I have a white cloth background but I’m not that happy with it .
Is the vinyl heavy for carrying around .Is it expensive ,where’s the best place to buy it .The cheapskate/Mc Ivor in me wonders
if this is the same stuff on the side of lorries or on vinyl advertizing which may be got cheaper .
I would like to be able to bring it to other peoples homes for hi-key portraits .

Hi Fran, Yes, they are good, durable and can be cleaned with a damp cloth. They are also heavy ( 2-3 times the weight of a paper roll, so I would be slow to advise taking one out with you) We can do two different versions, the “regular” one is from Lastolite: http://www.lastolite.com/superwhite-vinyl-backgrounds.php and is ?326 inc Vat. We can also supply a heavier duty version (Same size but just heavier material) for ?749 inc Vat. Both are supplied on an alloy pole. For reference a Lastolite Paper background roll is ?78 Inc Vat. We also have white cloths in 3m x 6m ?219 – these are the most practical for a portable set-up. . All are in stock.
