I’m a lucky boy whose wife’s parents live in rural, southern Spain. This gives me access to landscapes and wildlife that I am, only now, beginning to take pictures of.
We were there in early August and I noticed that, around noon every day, a pair of dragonflies (violet dropwings, it turns out) continually landed on the concrete at the side of the pool. I grabbed my zoom lens and spent ages creeping closer and closer. Eventually, I got some shots that I’m happy with but would appreciate feedback.
