Well its official, The Volvo Ocean race is coming back to Galway.
The Galway organisers managed to steal the Final Stopover for 2012.

What a coup for Galway, well done them !
I heard this and got excited but then realised it wasn’t for two years.
It’s great for the city, but it seems so far away. :)
If lasts years event wasn’t anything to go on it should be a good few event, that’s the PI event I’m talking about of course.

Nah, I meant 2012 is far away! :D My fault though.
Galway’s grand to get to on the train, I went over last year and had a great time. Myself and my girlfriend were talking about the Ocean Race and hoping it would be back but I was imagining this year. Even if it was next year, but 2012 is way beyond my reckoning at the moment.
Something to look forward to I suppose! :)
yep 2012 is a long way off yet . . . best try to survive this year first.
could indeed be a PI event, we had a one day pi event last year with great weather!
