Want To Sell My Framed Prints

To Sell framed prints whats often written about the photographer on the back is as, if not more important, than the image itself.Lets see who is really good at playing with words like treasured, passion, fine art, quality, etc and compose something beautiful which you would stick to the back of you prints to best describe [sell] you and your work . 100-200 words approx should be enough! I badly need ideas. Tom.
SteveDParticipantLet your photos do the talking! Don’t come here asking us to create 200 words of b/s to help sell your photos.
jb7ParticipantSo, the resolution to be a touch less merciless not working out then-
:D
sometimes a little bit of Flash wouldn’t go amiss-
In this case, I think the question is valid,
whether for a newbie posting here for the first time,
or for Norman Parkinson,
the potted biography will be a concern for many who publish photos.Earlier this evening I was privileged to see a copy of ‘Raw’, the book,
by some Priests of This Parish,
and the Biogs are important in that book,
taking up maybe one page in eight. The book looks fabulous, and well done to everyone who put it together,
keep it safe, it’ll be cash in the attic for sure-
It reads as a book, the portfolios are all strong, bar none,
and the Design and Production are a credit to all-Still, no Review Copy, no review, thats what I always say.
The space that usually follows is only concerned with attaining an artificial word count,
important within many cultures,
and especially those that pay maybe 20c. a word.
Hopefully someone can answer the original Question,
and in less than these 200 words- ishj
andy mcinroyParticipantBased on your post, I would say the less said the better.
Don’t be lazy now. Have a go yourself and post it here for comments.
Is it a biography you want to put on the back of a photo? Surely only you can write that. I don’t think you would generally put a advert on the back.
