God loves a trier – hates a chancer though !!! I haven’t decided which one I am !

I got mine from Ian Kerr (Kerso) in Scotland €1890 new and delivered by Fedex
with no tax issuesI have a brother in law in Boston so I might see how much they are over there as he is coming home for Christmas. I’ve heard great reports on it. Noel, have you used it with an extender and if so how was it? I guess you loose about 2 stops.
Never used an extender with it yet…it kind of defeats the purpose of the f2.8 on it,
I use it as a second lens at matches along with the 300 f2.8, I cover a lot of sport
and need the speed…yes you would lose two stops but for wildlife photography it
would be grand with the extender.Noel.

I have used the mark 2 lens with a 1.4x mark 2 converter. The quality is really, really good. I’d say as good as a mark 1 lens version at 2.8.
PS. I supposed you’ll be buying a couple of 1D X bodies :D
