Wasp on yellow flower

I’m fairly sure that this insect is a wasp. Please correct me if I’m wrong again.
This is clearly a hoverfly – wasps have twice as many wings and a narrow waist for a start. Decent capture of it though, albeit very horizontal.
Well i guess i need to brush up on my insects :) Excellent shot jools. So sharp :shock:
It’s weird the way it seems to be a long way above the flower. And its legs are not there. Was it in flight when you took the photo? Is that why its wings look as if they’re quivering?

I would turn the hoverfly to angle to make better composition if you can.Thanks for the advice. I have gone back to the RAW file and recropped and turned the shot slightly. What do you think?
