Water Glass Comradai NicoParticipant May 19, 2014 at 1:45 pm A long eight second exposer gave me this cool looking sheet of glass effect from the cascading water flowing over the lock. bigalguitarpickerParticipant May 25, 2014 at 7:39 pm Well captured Nico. What filter were you using? Comradai NicoParticipant May 27, 2014 at 2:58 pm bigalguitarpicker wrote: Well captured Nico. What filter were you using? Thank you! I used a HOYA polarising filter. bigalguitarpickerParticipant May 27, 2014 at 8:07 pm Good result Nico. I thought maybe you had used an 8 or maybe 10 stop filter. No, you’re right, I just remembered I used a 9 stop ND filter, as well as my polarising one. Not sure there was any need for the two. BMParticipant July 9, 2014 at 7:17 pm I like the effect – don’t often see the water in locks caught this way. Being picky: was this hand-held? – a wee bit of motion blur on the wall? Comradai NicoParticipant July 25, 2014 at 11:58 pm Thanks BM! It was shot from a tripod, 8 second exposer, not sure why its blurry though. I might have caused it in post production? Comradai NicoParticipant August 3, 2014 at 4:54 pm Another one from the same lock.
