Water marks on b&w darkroom prints

  • Hi guys,
Having a bit of a crisis here. Dryer for prints was broken last night so I left them to hang, but on my return this morning the water had sort of soaked and dried into spots on the prints creating hideous water marks.
Is there any simple way to remove these? Or any way at all?
Or will I just have to go reprint them from scratch?

I use Agfa Sistan (AG Stab) as a final treatment on my prints. As well as being a protective application, it also aids drying like photoflo does for film. I must add that my water supply is filtered though.

You could wet the prints and give them a gentle rub with your hands and dry again.

    Peter
