This Image was taken at Freagh castle co Clare just outside Spanish point my big challenge here was trying to capture the shear size of the waves I find it a juggling act to try between 17 ml on a full frame thats grabs a nice wide slice of the pie but makes the ocean look tame or else a tighter 100ml where you take a much tighter frame but you also capture the power of the ocean. this effort meets somewhere in the middle.
Thats really nice John, love the colour and nice to see waves and sea looking
like it should! (anti wooly water mode at the moment) How much did you pay the
bird? Perfectly placed :)
Lovely picture in all respects. The only thing is that it doesnt spell big waves for me. They could be 2ft or 20ft very hard to judge the size as there is nothing to put their size into context. Disregarding that Its a great shot , Great colour (very natural) and as someone else said the gull is perfectly positioned
