Welcome to the Photography Ireland site
We’re a free onilne photographic resource aimed at the amateur, semi-professional and professional photographer primarily based in
Ireland, those wishing to visit Ireland and of course photographers interested in Ireland all over the world.We aim to create a friendly online community for all our members. If you visit here as a guest,
please think about becoming a member. Its costs nothing and you will definitely get something out of it.Its important to point out that the type of camera you have is not important, its what you want to achieve with it that matters.
So again no matter what the camera is, top or bottom of the range, its the photographer and photograph that counts.Photo Critique & Posting
With regard to the Photo Critique forum. Honest and measured critique of peoples’ photographs is not only welcomed but encouraged. We’re all here to try and improve our technique and our capability to spot and capture good photographs.
If you post for critique, you need to be open to receiving critique, whether its good or bad.When posting photographs for editing it is best not to include too many photographs in the same post as people tend
not to comment on them all. 2-3 per post is probably a good number. It is much better to split out into separate posts
so that more people will see them and therefore more responses will be received. Also those without broadband will find
it difficult to view the the posts with many images included.If possible try and put some technical information with the photograph. Alot of members will find the extra information
very interesting.Additional Information on posting can be found here:
https://www.photographyireland.net/viewtopic.php?t=5967
Please read the following sticky on editing members photographs;
https://www.photographyireland.net/viewtopic.php?t=745Finally, no critiquing the critique only the image posted.

MarkAlfamaleParticipantSounds good! Will we be able to post up photographs for review by other members?
MarkKeymasterWelcome to the forum. The ‘Photo Critique’ section is where you can add links to your photographs and have the other forum members review them.
See the FAQ for how to add a link to an image.
