DeeboParticipantHi Ken
That is a great iteniary and I am sorry to admit that I will now miss this. The Tour of Ireland bike ride dates have changed and screwed all my plans. so lots of rejiging and hotel changes etc… My schedule has changed by a few days and looks like I will now be in Waterford for the 22/23/24, Although Might be about Youghal for most of the 22nd but this will most likely be a family gathering and no time for slipping off. Any changes I will let you all know.Have a great time all.
DeekenhParticipantBMParticipantLooks like I will have to miss this trip. I have been informed by Mrs BM and the BM_kiddies that I have to take them on holiday.
So, while you are enjoying the magnificence of West Cork while enjoying cups of tea, I wil have to make do with Lake Garda and bottles of Borolo. I’m sure my reward will be in heaven …
Ken: PM sent

As said I will be driving down on Saturday morning from Dublin is Rosscarbery on my route? if so no problems picking up ZoundZ?
Cheers Steve
TompixBandonMemberThanks, Ken.
I won’t need any accommodation.
I’ll be driving from Bandon to Glengarriffe Sat a.m. (space/lifts available) and I can come back via Skibb and Clon that eve.
I will aim to join ye at the Celtic Ross on Sunday for lunch and afternoon. [Lift(s) available Banon – Clon – Ross – Clon – Bandon]
Now all we need is a miracle change to the weather between this and then ;-)Many thanks.

Great Tom thanks – could you pick Laura (zoundz) up in Ross on the way out on Sat?
Cheers
KenPD_BARBSParticipantHello Ken
Unfortunately I will not be able to get down, the 8 hr drive is prohibitive, hope you have a great time.
ZoundzMemberFirstly – thank you for offers of lifts – think I’m bending mum’s ear about coming down to Glengarriff though – so we may be OK for a lift – if not, I’ll be sure to post about it very soon :)
Rosscarbery, I’m scouting for good things to see and do – though current thoughts are that we meet in Celtic Ross and do the pier and estuary first. Maybe then go for a spot of lunch. Not sure where – it’s not cheap here TBH – so those who want to spend a bit there are a few nice places, otherwise, bring food! We’ll be bringing a packed lunch, since we live only up the road! :)
After lunch we could then go down the to Warren beach and maybe do a bit of the cliff walk towards Ownahincha? That can be very pretty and can bring some nice shots.
These are just thoughts of course. During lunch perhaps a wander around the town itself for those interested in photographing towns/street photography etc.
Oooh – just in case it’s down that we do need somewhere to sleep – we don’t of course, and won’t be needing a bed on either night! :) I’m pretty sure I can talk mum into the Glengarriff trip, as long as she doesn’t have to do too much walking
xx
AedanCParticipantI’ll be coming from Baltimore so please don’t book any accomodation for me. Looking forward to meeting you all.
Thanks,
Aedan
deborahParticipantIf I am able I will day trip down from Cork city/Airport area.
Will let people know and will have car space nearer the time!Harry ReidParticipantGreetings!
I’ll most likely be travelling down from Kilkenny on the Friday and have independant accommodation. If anyone needs a lift along the route between Kilkenny and West Cork, please let me know…087 8138330. I’ll be visiting friends on the Friday evening so intend meeting you folks at the Hostel on Saturday morning. Really looking forward to “the shoot” and meeting everyone.
Go Well.
Harry R.kenhParticipantThanks for the responses folks – I was down in W.Cork yesterday casing the joint lol.
Peter, sorry to hear you can’t make it.
There are a few who have not responded yet – I’ll contact them directly and then publish the final list.
Cheers
