The next Wet Plate Collodion introductory workshop to be taught by photographer Sergey Sergeev is on Saturday 28th September 2013.
This workshop is the perfect introduction for those wishing to learn the techniques of this unique historic print making process. Although primarily used by those with large format cameras, Sergey will also show you how you can make enlarged wet plates from 35mm and medium format films. This means you are not restricted by whatever film format you use.
During the day, attendees will make glass plates and metal plates using large format cameras supplied for the workshop.
The venue will be in my photographic studio and darkroom in Trim, Co Meath, where we will make some very unique portraits with the wet plate process. Participants are also welcome to bring some “still life” objects to photograph.
All materials required plus full workshop notes will be provided. Places are limited to six so early booking is advised.
Venue: Trim, Meath.
Date: 28th September 2013
Time: 09:00 to 18:00
