Wexford Camera Club

Any visitors to Wexford (or residents) may be welcome to join up with our club.
We’re based in the Wexford Arts Centre in Corn Market (around the corner from the Bullring) and meet every second Monday at 8pm.

Right now we’re on a summer recess!!
My experiences to date are that it’s very much a club that is focused on helping people into the sport of photography by focusing on the basics of camera usage to developing skills through outings and practicals. A couple of exhibitions through the year and a wide variety of events and photography areas (night, studio, landscape, humour, etc) make it interesting especially those of us who are beginning and seeing your image in a public forum does generate a bit of pride in your work. It isn’t all things to all people but I’ve grown accustomed to the Monday nights and will continue to do so. Initially I wasn’t sure about it but perseverance was necessary before I got to know other members.
Maybe we’ll see you there??

I’ll pop in some night after the summer rest, I know from my old days in the wex camera club, the old members used to talk with each other, and all us NEW members just did what we liked…. they would never talk with new people–
do new members just get in the way—
I think now-a-days its more of a camera club—- NEW MEMBERS will make it more fun…..
