After reading great reviews about combining the Nikon 300mm F4 with a TC14 teleconverter I eventually picked one up…..Decided to try a few shots last evening at match with it.

That’s a class shot, looks really sharp even at a low res size. Conditions look ideal also.

Yes, a new setup can take a while to get use to. Took me ages with my sigma 70-200 f2.8, seems a lot better now.

Looks good for sure. Sport is so difficult. Getting a few keepers from a game is very good imho :)
