what 2-3 lens’s do you walk around with?

ok, I have a canon 18-55mm, a sigma 70-300mm and i can carry both pretty easily. My problem is there is a little gap between teh 55mm and the 70mm.

Im thinking I want as few a lens’s as possible to cover a range il most likely need, with one lens in particular as my walkaround lens that I will have to change as little as possible. Im willing to sell my current lens’s to attain this. im thinking something in the range of 18-120mm would be a good allrounder or something similar. then alll i need is to keep my sigma telephoto and id be sorted for quite a while.

so, without going crazy on prices, what 2-3 lens’s would you recommend, if you could only ever own 2-3 lens’s, remembering that money is a factor?

My general, everyday, walkaround lenses would be 24-70mm f/2.8 L and 70-200mm f/2.8 IS L. I might also just have the 50mm f/1.4 in my pocket too.

My 3 option lens pack to go out with on a day shoot – nothing particularly planned would be – EF-S 10-22mm, 24-70mm and 70-200mm. That covers most needed ranges, from wide angle landscapes, to portraits, to telephoto.

Generally sigma 10-20, nikkor 50/1.4 and nikkor 105/2 (previously a 135/2.8 ), but it depends on what i’m going to shoot…

    I carry a 24-70mm f2.8, 10-20mm Sigma and a Tokina 80-200mm f2.8. Depending on the location I sometimes change the Tokina for the 50-500mm.

I wouldn’t be too hung up on bridging the 55-70mm gap. The only difference bridging this gap will be in your head and your pocket.
