When your not all taking photographs…..what else would you like to do or do right now with your free time ?
Jay KingParticipantWell for me it’s kinda the other way around…
When I’m not doing martial arts and keeping fit… I like to take photographs!! ;)
PolMacMemberWeekdays work, commuting and sleep, one hours grace on the pc each evening messing about working or browsing.
Weekends – tending to the Bonsai or landscaping. Newly built house means no free weekends… Photography on Sunday mornings and relaxing in the afternoon…………………………………………………………………..

I’m the opposite way again. I’m a complete workaholic being the director of my own business, but when I’m not working, I’m out taking photographs. In the time I’m not doing either of these, I’m slowly getting less and less fit :)
AnonymousParticipantApart from running the studio i DJ all over and especially now with xmas party’s and whatnot..Have been trying to cut back lately and address the whole work/life/balance thing but need to get time to address that also
I also am about to wind down a business in which i was promoting major bands gigging here in kilkenny such as Hot House Flowers,Paddy Casey,Jack L,Complete Stone Roses etc-simply didnt have the energy anymore and two supposedly friends backed out when things got hairy,a lot to be said for going solo! :D
BenstcstcMemberwell i am sorta lucky i guess
for work, I am an Audio Visual producer, and so i get to play with images every day. (even get to shot images for work sometimes, which is great hobby and work, :D )
but i also enjoy a bit of fishing and my family
David_SParticipanti do motion graphics video work and interactive media design for my living which i love and it lets me travel …. but for fun .. :-)
i get drunk, i eat out, i watch futurama ;-), i play guitar, i stay in hotels :-), i read books, i go to art galleries, i drink coffee, i get drunk, i eat m&s chocolate bites, i get drunk, i take photographs .. u get the idea :-)d
stasberMemberWhen I’m not taking pics I enjoy live music of many types, I listen to a somewhat eclectic music collection of many different global origins, mainly what you might call roots, traditional, tribal or ‘world’, as well as your more socially acceptable genres plus a mish mash of trancy/jungly vibes and general pop (tolerable, only just!). Curiously not so much a rock & roll fan. I have a deep connection with flamenco. There’s also hand drumming (djembe, cajon) and various spiritual pursuits.
Ooh, that reminds me. As an honorary Corkonian (seeming as I wasn’t born here but feel very much at home) I’d be donning my colours going to as many of the Cork hurling league & championship games as I can. “Activities” also include taking time off work to wait in line half a day for tickets on occasion. However, feeble excuses keep me from playing this great sport.
earthairfireParticipantWork and photography take up a vast majority of my time, but, my main other interests are power kiting (not so much fun in winter!!), travel, film, and performance cars (although I sold my car when I moved to Dublin, so kinda a sore point at the moment!!).
As for the less respectable hobbies, eating out, clubbing (why are there no good clubs in Dublin?!?!) and general drink related activities all fall high on the social calendar!

nolongerParticipantIf I’m not working, I’m either at the gym, surfing the net, watching a movie, or reading. I used to play a ton of volleyball before I moved to Ireland, but since moving here I haven’t been able to find a fun recreational league.

Where abouts are you living? I know a few if you want I can give ya the details – One would be in the ALSAA sports club up by Dublin Airport.
RobMemberMostly music, recording, performing, composing, also lyricist for other musicians. After that, art, books, books, books, calligraphy, carpentry, cookery, cruciverbalism, dogs, driving, electricity, forests, gambling, graveyards, hoarding, Italy, jamtarts, keeping things in alphabetical order, Landrovers, laughter, Meath, new ‘toys’, open minds, penmanship, QWERTYUIOP, Rita, sudoku, theology, underwear, underwired, Vivaldi, walking, writing, X-Men, yeast products and Zen Buddhism. More or less everything I suppose.

AliParticipantOk where do i start, played rugby for a season and soccer for about 10 years previous. Had to give rugby up for modelling – photographers don’t like bruises the length of your legs :) I’ve been modelling part-time for the last year and half and i’m lucky to get to do some travelling, Scotland, England, Holland. Play guitar and drums. Love horse-riding, eating out, cinema and wine  (not in that order). As a result of the house, unfortunately I don’t really have much time for any of the above or photography for that reason :) which means I have to spend my time shopping.
thefizzParticipantGCPParticipantNotice a lot of musicians here !. Well much of my time is taken up running the business and studio. I was in a former work life in computers (mainframe type). I am also a musician playing keyboards but i’m getting less involved in that as each year passes. Time was in the late 70’s and during all the 80’s when I did play at least 5 nights each week……MAD or what !.
In fact I saw a video clip on RTE 1 on Sunday evening last taken back in early 90’s of me with a band in the Parkhouse in Edgewardstown. I still do a little ….. very little …… session work in 2 local recording studios in Galway. After that I love to read …….. which I do in fits and starts. Like TV and films a bit but cant take the violence that is pretty common in many films today.
