LoGillParticipant
Hmmmmm… after all the usual life, love and family things.. If i’m not fiddling with photography or forums my next favourite thing is to run a HOT aromatherapy bath.. light ALOT of candles.. turn on some music, grab a book and a bottle of red wine and just SOAK .
Right… thats tonight sorted ;)

wjklewisMemberAt the moment I am into horse riding, this is something I always enjoyed but did not do it on a regular basis. Its a good way of staying a wee bit fit. I love sailing and have done most outdoor activities. On the music end I have operated a PA system with a friend for about 8 years but dont do that so much at the moment. I have been involved in youth work all my life and am an officer in the Boys Brigade. I love talking to people and hearing their point of view. Oh and I am addicted to computers, which is so sad!

Great way to stay fit and great for the bum (if i do say so myself). :) I think some form of exercise is so important, it’s so easy to get stuck in a rut and just not bother.
nolongerParticipantWhere abouts are you living? I know a few if you want I can give ya the details – One would be in the ALSAA sports club up by Dublin Airport.
I’m in Clonskeagh, right next to UCD. Heading up to the airport could prove… troublesome… on your average weeknight. :)
Notice a lot of musicians here
Not a big surprise… many people who are artistically inclined in one discipline are also so inclined in others. Myself? I have no musical skill at ALL :)
KPMParticipantHaving set up my business earlier this year, and balancing it with being a (75%) house husband, I spend my spare moments wishing I had spare time
I used to do a lot of things, travelled the world both for business & pleasure (working for an airline helped), used to play in a band, used to do archery, play 10 pin bowling, used to be fit (ran a couple of marathons) used to have a flat stomach, used to have more hair……….the list goes on.
These days I’m daddy taxi service in my “spare” time but harbour dreams of picking up the guitar again, dropping a size or two in my clothes, getting time to watch a movie uninterrupted with a nice glass of wine, or sitting down with a decent crime novel (love John Connollys books).
wjklewisMemberHe ali, there is also a weird felling as you approach a jump and wondering which side of it your going to end up on!!!
richiehatchMemberWell apart from my sickening addiction to these forums…. theres photography… which pretty much takes up all the time outside of work…! Well almost…! Play some 5-aside footy, support Liverpool FC , all things Mac (is this a hobby…?), cats, trying to push myself back into MTB’ing, spending money on stuff that I think i need or will have time to use but dont, music, film, cars etc etc… oh and family stuff like being a Dad and a Husband…. all these things seem to get in the way of my photography… I have a problem…! ;-)

thomasMemberi spend alot of time looking afer my 3 year old daughter..i find myself watchin mary poppins, balamory, barbie, bratz etc and dancin around the house n tying her hair in pony/pig tails….i also play guitar, listen to music, daydream, eat and sleep alot
PeteTheBlokeMemberComputer bloke. I do networks, repairs, websites, databases, PHP, css, MySQL, a bit of Perl, a bit of training, blah blah, master of none.
When I’m not working I’m into all sorts: photography, climbing, fishing, botany and more. I listen to music – AC/DC and Mozart are favourites. I read books, read more books and buy books and buy more books. I used to drink, but gave it up so that I could concentrate better when I’m reading. I want to get edjicated and I’m already 40, so it’s becoming a race against time!
dublindaveParticipantAnother musician here.
I played full time for many years but eventually the travelling and playing the same thing night after night got to me and I packed it in. I drive a fork truck nowadays and get to sleep in my own bed every night..luxury after years of dodgy B+B’s and dubious hotels.
I do a bit of writing as well when I can find the time. My other great passion is cycling so I got the Mrs. to cut an old pair of Levis down the middle, sew up one end, put a strap and a zip on and the tripod fits in perfectly. I sling that and the camera over the shoulder and hit the road.
I work three twelve hour days get three days off then do three twelve hour nights and another three days off so I get more time to myself than most. Most of my time lately has been spent trying to get a grip on Photoshop CS2 version 9 which I got recently. An awful beast of a thing…Dave.

Dave.I think the travelling and late nights got us all. I got to hate the road, the set programme, the tired, drab venues, the struggle to get paid sometimes. It really became hard work …………….. that said, we did have our moments !
dmgParticipantWhen I get the chance, in between family, working (which includes as much catching up on web-stuff as can!), and walking dog (includes catching up on podcasts):
motorcycling (either riding or tinkering with it or reading about them!). That’s about it really.
